Rex's Cafe - What a gem

Having a 7 month pregnant wife could be very difficult, not to me since I get to try new places in response to her food cravings. This time she was craving something breakfast-y, something sweet that wouldn't only satisfy her sweet tooth but it would have to be within walking distance since she needs to get her exercise in. Rex's was high on the list due to local's recommendations and it is somehow within close proximity. Food: To me, the most important piece in the restaurant puzzle is the food. Rex's food was nothing short of excellent. The recipes are classic, timeless and always on the safe side of the spectrum. So, don't expect any adventurous dishes. The ingredients are high quality and fresh.
